Job summary

Health Catalyst in Singapore is seeking a Data Engineer to join a team delivering data persistence and processing solutions across healthcare platforms. You will design and maintain scalable database solutions, build ETL pipelines, and ensure data quality, security and compliance (HIPAA awareness).

Candidates have 4+ years in RDBMS, SQL optimization, NoSQL exposure, and familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Hybrid/onsite work in Singapore possible.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience with RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
Strong SQL optimization and tuning skills.
Experience with ETL concepts, data integration and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Acquire and integrate data from multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable database solutions for long-term reliability and performance.
Build automated ETL processes and data pipelines.
Ensure data quality, security and regulatory compliance.
Optimize SQL queries, indexes and stored procedures for efficiency.
Collaborate in code reviews and uphold standards.
