Overview
We are looking for the energetic & well-experienced Workplace Safety Health Officer for our all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections of buildings and other structures to identify potential fire hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
- Hazard Identification: Identifying fire risks, such as faulty wiring, blocked exits, or improper storage of flammable materials, and recommending corrective actions.
- Code Compliance: Ensuring that buildings and facilities meet local, state, and federal fire safety laws and regulations.
- Plan Review: Reviewing building plans and other documents to ensure they meet fire safety standards.
- Investigations: Investigating fire incidents to determine the cause, assess liability, and recommend preventative measures.
- Public Education: Educating the public and businesses on fire safety practices, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and the use of fire safety equipment.
- Report Writing: Preparing detailed reports on inspections, investigations, and other activities, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Follow-up: Ensuring that identified fire hazards are corrected and that corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaboration: Working with fire departments, construction teams, and other relevant agencies to promote fire safety.
- Equipment Use: Utilizing various fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inspections, investigations, and other relevant activities.
Qualifications
Qualification will be minimum diploma in Workplace Health & Safety. Well-experienced in construction field minimum five years. Six days per week and Sunday working (can take off any day) preferable.
