Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a sales and marketing team to meet corporate goals and sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies amidst evolving market conditions.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget updates to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry and trade regulations, and ethical standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sales and marketing processes and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of sales and marketing management experience in chemical products such as synthetic fibers, plastic‑processed products, and resin products.
• Proven track record of 3 to 4 years in regional sales and marketing leadership within the electronic materials industry.

Other Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently on short notice to meet customers in Africa, attend industry events, and visit overseas operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to high‑stress situations.
• Basic proficiency in Japanese would be advantageous for regular communication with the Japan headquarters.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence.
