Are you someone who is familiar with the Work Injury Compensation Act and has extensive underwriting experience in the product?

Your role will be focused on contributing to the growth and profitability of Singapore Workers Compensation product line through marketing, underwriting and managing of such products and services. You will also need to ensure compliance with the Singapore regulations and be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle from new developments to renewals.

Key responsibilities:
  • Reviewing current operational processes and understanding direction of new business profitable growth for the unit with the aim to identify, develop and deliver implementation plans for greater efficiency and accuracy through continuously streamlining processes, investment in technology-including automation and or utilizing offshore capabilities.
  • Continuing to refine Singapore Workers Compensation Portfolio Management Strategy including input into Underwriting Authorities, Underwriting Guidelines, Marketing Strategy, and Distribution Expansion.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients to facilitate the marketing and sale and training of the Liberty brand and products.
  • Reviewing, rating and underwriting target new business and renewal business in line with Liberty’s quality selection and adequate pricing guidelines.
  • Executing selling and negotiation strategies to ensure profitability and growth of Singapore Workers Compensation product line.
  • Ensuring the provision of an excellent underwriting service to the broker and/or agency community both personally and through the supervision of underwriting employees.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by your manager or other appropriate officer.
