Head of Treasury & Trade Operations – Lead global treasury, drive innovation, and optimize financial operations. A growing international financial services firm is seeking an experienced Head of Treasury & Trade Operations to lead its global treasury and trade functions. This pivotal role ensures secure, efficient, and compliant financial operations across multiple markets while driving innovation in payment and liquidity processes. The position offers a unique blend of traditional treasury management with exposure to modern financial infrastructure and cross-border payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Global Treasury Leadership: Develop and enhance treasury and trade frameworks, including governance, policies, and risk management processes.
  • Daily Operations Oversight: Manage cash management, fund execution, settlements, and liquidity monitoring across multiple markets.
  • Liquidity Optimization: Maximize global liquidity and capital utilization to support growth and safeguard assets.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline settlement processes and payment pathways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with banks, payment partners, and global clearing networks.
  • Risk Management: Design and implement treasury risk strategies covering FX, liquidity, and counterparty exposures.
  • Systems & Automation: Lead initiatives to enhance treasury systems, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to align treasury operations with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Support: Support leadership in capital planning, fund allocation, and international expansion initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in treasury, trade finance, cash management, or financial operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of cross-border payments, liquidity management, and treasury risk frameworks.
  • Experience with financial technology, payment solutions, or modern financial infrastructure is a plus.
  • Proven track record implementing or managing treasury systems, automation tools, and process improvements.
  • Experience driving AI-enabled process transformation within treasury, payments, or financial operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of managing cross-functional and multicultural teams.
