Gateway Search Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Head of Treasury to establish and run the group’s overseas treasury centre. You will design policies, processes and systems from scratch and lead treasury for international subsidiaries.

You will manage overseas treasury operations, budgets, cash forecasting, FX risk, and financing instruments while driving digitalisation and ERP integration to enhance efficiency and control. Fluent English and a finance degree are essential.

• 10+ years in treasury or finance, including at least 2 years managing overseas treasury
• Experience at an MNC or overseas subsidiary preferred
• Strong command of treasury budgeting, cash flow forecasting, FX risk management and financing instruments
• Good knowledge of international settlement and cross-border fund transfers

Head of Treasury (New Treasury Centre) | Singapore

Our client, a leading Asia-headquartered integrated logistics group with a large international footprint, is setting up its Overseas Treasury Centre in Singapore. We are partnering with them to appoint a Head of Treasury. This is the founding leadership role that will build and run treasury for the group’s international subsidiaries.

• You build it from scratch: the policies, processes and systems of a new treasury centre are yours to shape
• Regional scope across the group’s overseas entities
• You’ll lead treasury digitalisation and automation

Key responsibilities

Overseas treasury management

• Lead treasury operations across international subsidiaries, covering treasury planning, daily cash management, financing and FX risk management
• Review and optimise fund allocation so it stays compliant, secure and efficient

Treasury budgeting and cash flow

• Own the mid-to-long-term, annual and monthly treasury budgets for overseas subsidiaries
• Build sound cash flow forecasting models
• Analyse operating, investing and financing cash flows, decide funding priorities and make sure key projects are funded
• Set up budget tracking, analyse variances and drive corrective action

Policies, processes and systems

• Design and standardise treasury policies for payment approval, account management and financing
• Drive digitalisation and automation, including ERP–bank integration, to improve efficiency and risk control

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field preferred
• 10+ years in treasury or finance, including at least 2 years managing overseas treasury; experience at an MNC or an overseas subsidiary preferred
• Strong command of treasury budgeting, cash flow forecasting, FX risk management and financing instruments
• Good knowledge of international settlement, cross-border fund transfers and the regulations that apply
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and bank system integration is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken English for cross-border work and reporting
