Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Head of Solution Architecture in Singapore to define and lead the enterprise architecture strategy across global platforms. You will drive AI-enabled and data-driven designs, ensure security and scale, and govern technology choices in partnership with IT, product, engineering, and data leaders.

You will mentor high-performing teams, champion responsible innovation, and translate business goals into practical architectural roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Strategic enterprise architect with experience using frameworks such as TOGAF to transform global organisations.
• Proven track record governing large-scale platforms (CRM, Commerce, Integration, Data).
• Strong knowledge of AI, automation, and data architecture.
• Leadership in architectural governance, standards, and technology selection.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve Dyson’s enterprise architecture framework to align with standards.
• Architect platform strategies incorporating AI, automation, and data-driven services with measurable business impact.
• Lead architectural governance boards; balance innovation with cost, risk, and operational excellence.
• Guide assessment and selection of new technologies; ensure secure integration with core systems.
• Champion responsible and ethical AI practices embedded in architecture and standards.
• Mentor and develop the team; grow enterprise architecture capability.
• Engage with stakeholders across levels to translate complex tech issues into clear insights.
• Ensure smooth delivery of technology projects with internal and third-party teams.

About The Role

As Head of Solution Architecture, you set the vision, shape the roadmap, and uphold the standards for Dyson’s enterprise architecture. You’ll ensure technology aligns with business and operational goals, and that AI and automation are adopted with intent—not just added for novelty. You’ll architect for scale, resilience, and security, establishing clear governance and frameworks. You’ll upskill your team and advocate for responsible, data-driven design, guiding technology through every stage of maturity. Collaboration is key—you connect business strategy to technical execution, partnering with leaders across IT, product, engineering, and data. Throughout, you ensure Dyson’s architectures are future-proof and always open to innovation.

• Engage regularly with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable insights.
• Ensure smooth delivery of technology projects, supporting both in-house and third-party teams.
• Monitor industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance Dyson’s enterprise architecture—with a strong bias for practical, scalable solutions.

About You

• Strategic enterprise architect, with deep experience using frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) to transform complex global organisations.
• Proven success architecting and governing large-scale platforms (CRM, Commerce, Integration, Data) with an enterprise-wide mindset.
• Strong working knowledge of AI, automation, and data architecture—skilled at integrating these capabilities where they make the biggest difference.
• Demonstrated leadership in architectural governance, standards, and technology selection, balancing innovation with business risk.
• Confident communicator and natural collaborator, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Proven people management experience
• Track record of growing and mentoring high-performing architecture teams.
