The role involves providing academic leadership, supporting student wellbeing, and guiding students through university applications. SMMIS is looking to hire an experienced Head of Sixth Form to start in August 2026.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Sixth Form has responsibility for all elements of educational and pastoral provision for students in the Sixth Form, including student academic progress and ensuring attainment is commensurate with baseline academic data. In monitoring, tracking and supporting academic progress, the Head of Sixth Form works closely with the Head of Secondary School to develop the educational programme for the Sixth Form, ensuring it prepares all students for their next steps beyond School.
