About the Role

This role is responsible for driving Sales & Sales Enablement strategy across all RX Greater China events. Additionally, it leads a bold Greater Bay Area (GBA) growth strategy and owns the full-cycle P&L of appointed events. The successful candidate will inspire cross-functional teams, pilot digital innovations, and deliver sustainable growth to strengthen RX’s business in the region.

Responsibilities
  • International Sales — Own and steer the international sales strategy for all RX Greater China events, integrating market intelligence, pricing, and channel plans to maximize overseas revenue.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database and intelligence report on global partners; open doors for project teams to establish a robust international network.
  • Identify high-potential international sales talent, design targeted training and coaching programs that accelerate global sales performance.
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs to equip the sales team with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales materials align with value-based selling and customer needs.
  • Analyse and optimise the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations for sales process improvements through CRM and KPI dashboards.
  • Offer one-on-one coaching and support to sales representatives to help them overcome challenges and achieve targets.
  • Share best practices and success stories within the sales team.
  • Monitor and interpret GBA government policies, subsidies, and cross-border initiatives.
  • Secure sponsorship and government funding to reduce event costs and enhance ROI.
  • Conduct market scans to identify emerging sectors and untapped customer segments; develop go-to-market plans and pilot events to capture share.
  • Establish MoUs with GBA trade associations; create joint task forces to co-host shows and matchmaking sessions that drive exhibitor and visitor growth.
  • Drive new growth and deliver new business with high quality.
Requirements
  • MBA or University Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of senior-level sales experience with Exhibition, Conferences or any relevant industries
  • At least 10 years of team management experience.
  • Leadership experience with P&L responsibility preferred.
  • Ability to operate on operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
  • Experienced in working in a global and highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong collaboration, innovative and strategic thinking skills.
  • Mature, excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
