Edelman is seeking a Head of Production to lead and elevate our production capability across the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) region. This leader will serve as the central connector for Production across our regional offices—building an integrated, high‑performing function and fostering deep connectivity among markets with distinct cultural and creative dynamics.
We’re looking for an established production visionary with a truly integrated, cross‑platform background, seasoned in the business of content and production. This person understands traditional production craft and knows where and how to challenge the status quo. They will help drive innovation and operational excellence as we deliver a diverse spectrum of content—including broadcast, long‑form, social, experiential, OOH, digital activations, AI‑enhanced content, and live events.
Production at Edelman APAC is strategically embedded between Creative, Strategy, Digital, and Client Service. The ideal candidate will be both a builder and a connector—partnering with brand leaders, creatives, technologists, and regional production heads to establish best practices, drive cost efficiencies, and develop breakthrough content at scale across varied formats and languages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a next‑generation production ecosystem across APAC, covering all production disciplines—broadcast, digital, social, experiential— with a focus on agile content creation and cost‑effective scalability.
  • Embed AI‑based solutions and future‑facing tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Topaz) into workflows to enhance efficiency, ideation, and creative execution.
  • Establish and manage dynamic production operations, including budgeting, staffing, process improvement, and workflow management across multiple markets.
  • Lead the day‑to‑day and strategic growth of the APAC production team, fostering creative excellence, operational discipline, and career development.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to creative, studio, and account leadership, aligning production strategy with regional business priorities.
  • Drive innovation in production technologies, asset management systems, and remote workflows to enhance client outcomes and operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure all project outputs meet the highest standards for quality, cultural nuance, and speed to market.
  • Manage the financial health of the production function, overseeing billability, utilization, margin contribution, vendor relationships, and forecasting.
  • Cultivate relationships with emerging talent, regional vendors, and makers across the APAC region to strengthen local capabilities and creative diversity.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values entrepreneurial thinking and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of integrated production experience, including at least 5 years in agency, studio, network, or production company leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in leading cross‑functional, cross‑border teams within diverse APAC markets (e.g., Australia, Singapore, China, Japan, India, Southeast Asia).
  • Strong understanding of both traditional and digital‑first production models, including remote production and scalable content creation.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI and automation tools into creative workflows.
  • Deep business acumen with a track record of successfully managing P&Ls, production budgets, and resource planning.
  • Inspirational leader with a commitment to talent development, mentorship, and cultural inclusivity.
  • Excellent partner and communicator, able to engage with senior leadership, clients, and multi‑market teams effectively.
  • A sharp eye for emerging creative and production talent across the region.
