Job description

The Head of Operations (APAC) serves as the key operational liaison between the Asia-Pacific markets and our headquarters in Singapore. This pivotal role is responsible for building, executing, and scaling operational processes across the APAC region while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Sales Administration
  • Lead accurate demand forecasting in coordination with APAC sales teams and regional distributors.
  • Oversee order management processes, from purchase order intake to shipment tracking and delivery.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, track sales leads, analyze sales data, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to support budgeting and forecasting for APAC markets.
  • Collaborate with HQ and regional solution teams to ensure products meet local certification and regulatory requirements.
Supply Chain Management
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure product availability across APAC.
  • Lead S&OP processes for APAC, coordinating demand planning, inventory levels, and freight optimization.
  • Work with logistics providers, warehouses, and distributors to improve lead times and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local import/export regulations and documentation.
  • Develop and implement inventory replenishment strategies for key products.
After-Sales Service Support
  • Establish and manage after-sales service processes with local partners and support teams.
  • Define SLAs and escalation paths to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Monitor service quality metrics and enhance regional service capabilities.
Regional Distribution Network Management
  • Build and optimize the APAC distribution framework to ensure market coverage.
  • Coordinate with master and sub-distributors to improve service and product availability.
  • Align regional operations with global processes and strategic objectives.
Operational Cost Management
  • Monitor and control operating expenses across APAC, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
  • Analyze cost drivers in logistics, warehousing, service, and administration.
  • Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide regular OPEX reports and identify improvement opportunities.
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the regional liaison with HQ functions including logistics, finance, product, and customer service.
  • Communicate effectively across time zones and cultures.
  • Provide regular updates to HQ on market needs, cost performance, and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with finance on invoicing, credit control, and payment follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely reporting and escalation to regional management as needed.
Sales Operations & Salesforce Excellence
  • Lead Salesforce optimization and platform usage across APAC.
  • Design sales processes and manage pipeline performance.
  • Ensure data governance and analytics support sales strategy.
  • Enable and train sales teams on Salesforce best practices.
Data Governance & Quality Management
  • Implement robust data governance standards to maintain 95%+ data quality across sales activities.
  • Define and monitor metrics such as field completeness, validation accuracy, and activity tracking.
  • Develop automated dashboards and exception reports for proactive issue resolution.
  • Establish data hygiene protocols including audits, cleanups, and training programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, ideally in a tech, electronics, or B2B distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, sales administration, after-sales service, and cost control.
  • Proven ability to manage regional operational budgets and deliver on cost targets.
  • Experience working with distributors and partners across the APAC region.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required, other languages a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with ERP and CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
