Job description
Overview

To ensure we have the optimal mix of merchandise assortment to drive growth and profitability, we are hiring the Head of Merchandising based in Singapore to lead the team of Merchandisers, setting the allocation, replenishment, and stock levels in all new/existing stores and online. You will drive the selling and profitable net growth of COS in the Region whilst also ensuring alignment with the online strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Produce the selling strategy for the region as well as actions to drive them, setting the vision and goals
  • Responsible for concept sales in stores and online to maximize profitability with a cost-conscious approach in reduction activities
  • Identify quantitative selling opportunities & future potentials to drive sustainable growth
  • Co-operate with your Merchandising Team to engineer the Regional commercial plan in consideration of buying and financial information for both channels, online and instore
  • Co-create with Buying, Visual, and Marketing Teams regarding the commercial plan and selling potentials, as well as local initiatives and opportunities & threats to secure the customers\' journey
  • Develop a common way of working and omni-planning tools to secure efficiency and accuracy, providing the space, autonomy, and coaching they require to find solutions to future-proof the COS brand
  • Co-operate in line with the Global Head of Buying and Controllers regarding the strategy, forecasts, and volume to drive selling and growth
  • Oversee supply chain setup and communications with the Global Logistics department to make sure that their activity supports the selling and stock goals for the region
  • Implement together with the Supply Chain Merchandiser and the Concept Merchandiser the Regional multichannel allocation strategy to secure sustainable sales growth
  • Create the merchandise budget and buying strategy, developing and following up on the commercial plan that drives profitable net growth on an experienced level
  • Set clear focuses and quantified goals and follow up, conducting and managing stock values and reduction costs and the financial plan

  • Influence the buying process by providing knowledge of the customer perspective and global competitors together with market input to actively participate in the upcoming buying plan and strategies
