Your role in the team

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee a team and be responsible for driving the demanding growth of our new brokerage product while continuing to scale the existing CFD business.

This is a key leadership position that requires both strategic vision and hands‑on execution. You will own all marketing channels—digital, affiliates, social, PR, partnerships, and offline—and partner closely with sales, client servicing, and product teams to deliver measurable growth. The role is critical in shaping our regional brand presence, client acquisition, and engagement strategies, while ensuring marketing initiatives are compliant, data‑driven, and aligned with business priorities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and oversee all marketing channels, ensuring strategies are tailored to local market dynamics while aligned with global brand positioning.
  • Manage the budget for markets and being responsible for cost effectiveness, resource allocation and measurable ROI.
  • Drive the demanding growth of IG’s new brokerage product, while continuing to scale the existing CFD business.
  • Partner closely with regional teams, performance team, sales, client servicing, and product teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly support business objectives and client needs.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention across digital, performance, social, partnerships, PR, and offline channels.
  • Manage agencies on record for communications, creative development and media buys.
  • Continuously track market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies, seize opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee and inspire a team of marketers, building a high‑performance, innovative, and collaborative culture.
  • Uphold regulatory and brand compliance standards across all campaigns and communications.

What you’ll need for this role

  • Minimum 10 years in tech or finance marketing, across traditional, social and digital channels.
  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent leadership experience managing a team and a budget of US>$10M.
  • Degree in marketing, business or finance.
  • Strong understanding of investment & trading products (CFDs, FX, Crypto, Stocks) as well as an interest in the financial markets.
  • Familiar with Gen AI tools and CRM systems such as Braze & Salesforce.
  • Strategic mindset with a bias for action. Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to optimise and pivot on marketing plans for maximum effectiveness.
  • Regional experience in Malaysia, HongKong, Taiwan, Thailand
  • Fluency in English is a requirement, proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa is a significant advantage to engage customers from Chinese/Bahasa native countries.
