A leading insurance provider in Singapore is seeking a Head of Learning & Development Partnership Distribution to lead the L&D strategy and enhance capabilities within the organization and partners. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in project management and L&D strategy, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role involves designing L&D programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring continuous improvement in training effectiveness.

The Head of Learning & Development Partnership Distribution will lead and drive the development of Prudential Group Partnership Distribution (PD) strategy and our strategic ambitions in Learning & Development (L&D). This role will continue to enhance both Prudentials and our partners capabilities by ensuring best-in-class L&D content and delivery as the centre of excellence and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the PD community.
Develop & own Partnership Distributions L&D strategic framework by owning the design and deployment of facilitated and self-paced learning managing L&D operations and expanding access to experiential learning.
Work closely with key partnership account heads to design / develop L&D programs and infrastructure addressing their identified needs utilizing best-in-class L&D methods and techniques.
Provide strategic guidance on country implementation plan for foundational advance and specialist curriculum by working with bank partners to implement aligned market relevant training strategies and materials to support optimal delivery.
Create engaging and interactive L&D contents & materials including presentations e-learning modules job aids and assessments (via in house or external vendor) with focus on advisory and soft skills instead of traditional product-oriented approach and in strategic focus areas e.g. HNW Health & Protection.
Conduct Group-led L&D sessions for target participants at senior leaders.
Deliver L&D content effectively ensuring high levels of participant engagement and knowledge retention.
Facilitate workshops group discussions and other interactive activities to encourage active learning and skills development.
Standardize our learning management system to deliver plug and play capabilities across the markets so as to enable efficiencies at scale and ensure we deliver a strong & consistent blended learning across our partners.
Develop and implement metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of L&D programs.
Analyse feedback and assessment data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to L&D content and delivery methods.
Incorporate industry best practices in learning and development into strategic roadmap and programs.
Support countries L&D coordinators providing guidance support and mentorship.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure L&D programs are aligned with business objectives and integrated into broader talent development initiatives.
Collaborate with bank partners L&D teams to map out medium-to-long term learning objectives and ensure best-in-class roadmap is maintained at Group level.
Build a culture of continuous learning and skill development across the organization and PD community.
Develop and maintenance of a regional training framework.
Build distributor capabilities in advisory cross-sell health & protection suite of products.
Identify learning opportunities & gaps and roll out new curriculum and content to enable distributors.
Align with country-specific needs and priorities to curate implementation plan for each country including foundational advanced and specialist curriculum rollouts with tailored training materials.
Establish comprehensive metrics framework to assess training program effectiveness with clear understanding of training program impact on sales performance and other KPIs.
University graduate with at least 10 years of relevant experience including people & project management skills.
Experience in developing L&D strategy for Bancassurance.
Excellent track record in project management & delivery.
Sound stakeholder management and inter-personal skills.
Well spoken English. Mandarin / Cantonese an added advantage.
Self-motivated team player and ability to work under pressure.
