An educational institution in Singapore seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee network management and infrastructure development. Lead the planning, upkeep, and advancement of the institution’s network environment to ensure stability, security, and room for growth.
Manage connectivity, Wi‑Fi performance, and communication systems across the school.
Implement strong cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard digital assets and sensitive information.
Oversee the adoption, rollout, and maintenance of digital tools used for learning and operations.
Ensure that platforms and applications work seamlessly together for efficient workflows.
Familiarity with systems like Seesaw, iSAMS, and SchoolsBuddy will be advantageous.
Supervise updates and functionality of the school website and online learning tools.
Guide and develop the IT team, encouraging skills enhancement and professional growth.
Oversee departmental budgeting and resource planning.
Partner with teaching and administrative staff to understand needs and deliver solutions.
Ensure prompt and effective support services for staff, students, and parents.
Build and run training initiatives to strengthen digital confidence within the school community.
Maintain a structured helpdesk system to track and resolve issues efficiently.
Uphold data protection standards and regulatory requirements.
Manage processes for data storage, backup protocols, and disaster recovery.
Handle vendor relationships to secure reliable and cost‑effective solutions.
Engage with external agencies, regulators, and tech partners where necessary.
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar disciplines.
At least eight years of IT leadership experience.
Experience in a school or academic setting is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of networks, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity practices.
Skilled in managing LMS, SIS, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
Experience with cloud platforms, virtualisation technologies, and data solutions.
Strong track record of leading and motivating IT teams.
Excellent communication and ability to work closely with educators and administrative staff.
Strong judgement, problem‑solving ability, and resilience under pressure.
