Job Description
Geographical coverage
- Singapore
- Distribution markets in Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed annual revenue and margin targets. Focus on financial metrics for sales performance benchmark, PSM KPIs, SG&A effectiveness and distribution/division margin improvement.
- Provide timely insights and recommendations by leveraging commercial knowledge, financial data analysis and business judgement to support the management team.
- Able to anticipate business risks and develop action plans to mitigate.
- Oversee Projection/LBE/Plan/LRP process with analytical review of forecasts and development of sensitivities.
- Coordinate and supervise accounting activities in compliance with local regulations, US GAAP, and company policies.
- Work with Pharma (Host-Guest model) to coordinate the month-end accounting close process to provide timely and accurate financial reports.
- Work with Centre of Excellence – FSS, Treasury, PSM, GTC, Tax.
- Focus on an agile operating model and efficient distribution under strong S&OP process to carry on business continuity without supply disruptions and high customer satisfaction.
- Strengthening affiliate and distributor markets forecast accuracy and ensure monthly DSO/MOH at a healthy level.
- Ensure that business development opportunities are implemented in an effective and timely manner, including participating in negotiating agreements with distributors.
- In conjunction with the Country Manager, establish a strategic plan that contributes to the short-term and long-term success of the affiliate and distributor markets.
- Ad-hoc Projects, Process Improvement and Finance Transformation.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years’ progressive working experience with an MNC.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce, CPA or MBA preferred.
- Experience with multinational company (Pharmaceutical / Medical device experience is a plus) with a successful career progression.
- Self‑starter with ability to operate independently, identify and implement process improvements, establish, and adjust priorities to achieve objectives and operate with speed and agility.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to diverse audiences, at multiple levels, through various formats.
- Demonstrated ability to comfortably work in a fast growing and dynamic environment and passionately support the development of a high performance and dynamic organization.
- Demonstrated strong compliance and integrity mindset.
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure within strict deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in Advanced Excel, SAP, LongView/SAC, PowerPoint.
