Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a senior leader to drive regional data governance and accelerate analytics capability across multiple regional markets. You will spearhead the data strategy, architect foundational assets, and partner with cross-functional leadership to bridge business demand with data delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience architecting and overseeing modern data capability frameworks including AI/ML and data governance.
• lead large-scale regional data analytics transformation programs in complex matrix environments.
• Deep domain experience in insurance or broader financial services.
• Experience leading diverse teams of Data Analysts, Product Owners, and Business Analysts across dispersed locations.
• Excellent executive-level communication to bridge business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional data strategy and translate vision into executable roadmaps for analytics, reporting, and regulatory outcomes.
• Architect core data assets to reduce fragmentation and enable self-service consumption.
• Partner with underwriting, claims, finance and actuarial to align business demand with data delivery.
• Oversee end-to-end program governance across regional portfolios, prioritization, AI risk framing, and ExCo reporting.
• Mentor onshore and offshore data teams to build sustainable regional data capabilities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Data Analytics, this high-impact leadership opportunity empowers you to drive regional data governance and accelerate analytics capability across multiple regional markets.

• Spearhead the regional data strategy across diverse business units, translating overarching vision into practical execution roadmaps that support analytics, reporting, and regulatory outcomes.
• Architect core foundational data assets to reduce operational fragmentation and facilitate self-service consumption.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership spanning underwriting, claims, finance, and actuarial to bridge business demand with high-performing data strategy delivery.
• Direct end-to-end program delivery governance across regional portfolio initiatives, managing intake prioritization, real-time AI risk frameworks, and executive steering committee reporting.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing onshore and offshore team of data analysts, and product owners to build sustainable regional data capabilities.

You will work within a collaborative, forward-thinking regional leadership team that emphasizes cross-functional partnership, strategic autonomy, and exposure to senior executive leadership.

Skills And Experience Required

• Proven track record of architecting and overseeing modern data capability frameworks, including AI/ML, and data governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated track record of leading large-scale regional data analytics transformation programs, strategy and governance framework within complex matrix environments.
• Deep domain experience within insurance, or broader financial services sectors.
• Experience leading and developing diverse teams of Data Analysts, Product Owners, and Business Analysts across dispersed geographic locations.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and negotiation skills to bridge non-technical business leaders with technical engineering teams and represent progress in ExCo and Steering Committees.
