You will lead major donor engagement, stewardship, and campaigns, while managing the donor pipeline and representing the School in philanthropic matters.
The role requires strong leadership, diplomacy, and a track record of fundraising success with major donors, reporting to the Director of Business Development
Established in 1925, Tanglin Trust School is an international school in One-North, Singapore, offering an outstanding education for expatriate students. The school educates boys and girls aged 3-18 years. We respect and nurture all students as individuals, seeking to inspire and celebrate their efforts in pursuing intellectual, moral, cultural, social and physical development.
Embedding a culture of philanthropy in the School community amongst students, teachers, staff, parents and alumni is one of our key priorities. Philanthropy funds exceptional opportunities helping to drive sustainability initiatives, encourage student leadership and service activities, give access to inspirational visitors and significantly drive both participation and excellence in our sports and arts programmes.
We are now seeking a Head of Development who will work closely with the Director of Business Development and Head of TTS Foundation to translate the School’s strategic priorities into a comprehensive fundraising strategy and programme designed to grow philanthropic income.
As the Head you will provide strategic and operational leadership across fundraising, with particular responsibility for major gifts, donor cultivation and solicitation, stewardship, fundraising campaigns and the management of the School’s donor pipeline. You will personally manage relationships with Tanglin’s most significant prospective and existing donors and will be a senior representative of the School in philanthropic and donor engagement.
The successful candidate will bring experience and success in leading fundraising, confidence with major donors and senior executives and the ability to be calm and diplomatic under pressure.
We are looking for someone who values team culture and will encourage this through their leadership.
