Funding Societies | Modalku in Singapore is seeking a passionate leader to head Data Analytics and Data Science, guiding strategy, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions across the organisation. You will oversee end-to-end data processes from collection to deployment and business integration.

The role requires 10+ years in analytics or data science, with at least 2 years in leadership, fintech/tech experience, and strong SQL, Python or R, and Tableau or Qlik skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related fields.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role within fintech or tech environments.
• Proficient in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik).
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Data Strategy & Vision: translate priorities into an actionable data strategy for growth and risk management.
• Team Leadership: mentor data analytics and data science leads to build a high-performing team.
• Stakeholder Influence: partner with Data Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, and Finance.
• Data-Driven Business Impact: identify opportunities and drive analytics initiatives with measurable impact.
• Capability & Tooling Uplift: adopt new tools and methods to keep analytics current.
• Risk & Data Governance Oversight: ensure compliant data practices across markets.
