Job summary

SMRT Trains Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Manager, IT Cybersecurity Architect to define and govern cybersecurity architecture across cloud and on‑premises environments, aligning security with business strategy and technology roadmaps.

The role covers secure‑by‑design principles, architecture governance, risk assessment, and collaboration with engineering, operations, regulators and vendors to strengthen SMRT's resilience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or related fields.
• Strong experience in enterprise‑level security architectures and secure‑by‑design.
• Experience with cloud and on‑premises security controls and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity architecture blueprint aligned with technology roadmap.
• Establish secure by design principles, guardrails and design standards.
• Provide governance through review boards and solution endorsement processes.
• Ensure architecture decisions support resilience, scalability and compliance.
• Lead design and evaluation of security controls for cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Advise project teams on system hardening, network segmentation, and identity security.
