Job description

The purpose of the role is to develop and lead a state-of-the-art controlling function that creates value by advanced reporting and analytics, performance management, forecasting and planning, supporting strategic initiatives and developing people. The role involves preparing the financial reports and conducting financial analysis, performance management, and forecasting while recognizing opportunities and risks. The job holder needs to coach, develop and guide the controlling team and act as a business partner by influencing, collaborating, and supporting numerous stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic reporting / Results
  • Prepare reports and submit data about financial and business results monthly
  • Develop and drive a wide range of financial analysis focused on business trends and evaluation of performance, projections, reports, and create transparency in presentations for senior management
  • Facilitate and lead the business planning process and drive the performance management cycle, including Rolling Forecast, LE, target setting and restatement
  • Support and facilitate strategic target setting, and play a critical role in the development of strategic initiatives and investment projects Steer hub costs distribution process among the market organisations
People development
  • Leadership skills to coach, excite, motivate and empower to bring the best out of her/his own team, competency on situational leadership framework.
  • High ambition to constantly develop him or herself. Able to attract and develop talent and to retain backbones to nurture a strong and diverse team and to ensure solid succession pipeline.
  • Develop and guide the controlling team, by planning activities, setting objectives and creating an environment for continuous development.

  • Provides practical counsel to drive results and entrepreneurial behavior with top-bottom line focus throughout the organization.
  • Trains and coaches P&L (Profit & Loss statement) orientation of Cross-Functional Team. Influence, collaborate and support numerous stakeholders across the entire business including Group (HQ), the regional Executive Management Team and partner Market Offices'.
  • Sound understanding of how Hilti business model and strategy work with customer and market orientation, with ability to link to financial impact.
Process / reporting improvement
  • Establish and further develop clear, consistent reporting, financial and controlling procedure ensuring accurate and timely data availability and insightful, thorough analysis.
  • Arm the business with data and insights needed for decision making and performance enhancement Actively drive the continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Identify gaps & drive activities to improve data quality.
  • Adherence to statutory and organisation policies, procedures and timetable Contribute to local and global projects
