Job summary

Mars Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Head of AI Research (Voice) to lead the development of real-time voice AI that powers natural conversations. You will shape research directions, oversee production-grade models, and drive system latency improvements.

You will manage a small team of researchers, collaborate with engineering, and own evaluation metrics for accuracy, latency, and quality of dialogue in real-world deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of advanced voice AI models for natural, real-time conversations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in AI research and development, particularly in speech-to-speech, ASR, or TTS.
• Experience working at a leading AI research lab or technology company with strong speech AI capabilities.
• Proven experience taking AI research models into real-world production environments.
• Strong knowledge of model training, fine-tuning, optimization, and evaluation.
• Experience building low-latency, real-time voice AI systems is highly preferred.
• Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to lead a small, specialized research team.
