Overview
Role Summary: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head, ILP Business Development and Fund Investment Marketing to spearhead Prudential Singapore (PACS) strategy to grow our Investment-Linked Product (ILP) business and associated fund AUM growth. This role combines strong investment acumen with business development and fund investment marketing leadership to deliver compelling investment propositions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive the ILP / investment products business growth and associated fund AUM growth, ensuring continuous increase in fund AUM and profitability.
- Design and implement growth strategies across all channels, aligning ILP and fund offerings with evolving customer needs.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in fund and ILP marketing campaigns, ensuring strong positioning, differentiated storytelling and customer relevance.
- Initiate, design and deliver practical financial training program to all channels to build competency and expertise in the areas of investment, ILP and essential soft skills.
- Create practical, hands-on learning for our sales force to uplift sales capability in both technical and consultive selling in ILP and investment products.
- Equip our sales force with confidence and expertise to position investment solutions effectively to customers.
- Collaborate and conduct client seminars with all channels on importance of financial planning (e.g. Legacy Planning, Retirement Planning, Financial Literacy) in driving business growth.
- Lead the development and management of sales, marketing and training materials with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA a plus).
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in insurance, asset management, or financial services, with a strong focus on ILPs and fund marketing.
- Deep understanding of investment-linked insurance products, unit-linked fund structures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proven track record in growing ILP businesses and fund AUM through distribution and marketing excellence.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex fund or market concepts for broader audiences.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
