A leading sports management company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Facilities Planning and Management expert. You will oversee major facilities including the Singapore Sports Hub and ensure operational excellence through effective management and planning. The ideal candidate has 15-20 years of experience and a graduate degree in engineering or technology. Kallang Alive Sport Management Co Pte. Ltd. (KASM), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kallang Alive Holding Co Pte Ltd which is incorporated by Sport Singapore, was established to manage the Singapore Sports Hub. The Singapore Sports Hub is Singapore’s premier sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub with integrated community programming. KASM aims to bring to life Singapore’s vision of the Singapore Sports Hub as a national icon by maximising the full potential of the integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle development.
With the relocation of Singapore Sports School and new upcoming 18,000 seats indoor arena within the Kallang Alive Precinct, KASM is tasked with the expanded responsibilities of maintaining and operating majority of the building facilities within Kallang Alive Precinct, for and on behalf of the government. Relatedly, under the SG Green Plan, a national initiative aimed at advancing sustainable development by 2030, focusing on key areas including cleaner energy, green infrastructure, resilient city planning, sustainable living and a circular economy, maintaining standards and certification of the current buildings and ensuring on setting specific goals and objective of the new/ upcoming building are eminent to overall success in this whole-of-nation effort across industry-community and government.
This role shall be the subject matter expertise on Facilities Planning and Management for all buildings within the 90-hecatares precinct, maintained and operated by KASM. These facilities include but not limited to: Singapore Sports Hub, Singapore Indoor Stadium, Kallang Tennis Hub, Kallang Football Hub and upcoming buildings defined by Kallang Alive Master Plan.
Working with key stakeholders both internal and external, including Building Control Authority, Green Building Council, SportsSG, contracted facilities management consultants and vendors, this role will be eminent for upholding of KASM’s policy position together with SportsSG.
