About

We are partnering a well-established, regulated organisation on the appointment of Head of Compensation & Benefits, to lead its total rewards agenda at group level.

Reporting to the Group Head of Human Capital Management, this role owns the design and governance of compensation and benefits frameworks to support talent attraction, retention and performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation and ongoing review of group-wide compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with business strategy and market competitiveness
  • Drive annual salary review, bonus planning and performance calibration cycles, ensuring strong governance, fairness and compliance
  • Conduct job evaluation, market benchmarking and pay analysis to support informed reward decisions
  • Advise HR Business Partners and senior leaders on compensation structuring, internal equity and reward trade-offs
  • Oversee salary structures, incentive schemes and variable pay programmes
  • Partner HCM and Finance on annual manpower budgeting and headcount planning
  • Lead the design, review and administration of employee benefits, including insurer and vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and audit standards
  • Develop and maintain C&B policies and guidelines, and support matters relating to the Remuneration & Nomination Committee
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
  • Strong grounding in job evaluation, market benchmarking and total rewards frameworks
  • Comfortable working with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, Excel, analytics platforms)
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into clear, executive-level insights
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
  • Strategic, structured thinker able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
