A leading sports academy in Singapore is seeking a Head Coach to lead high-quality coaching sessions and mentor other coaches. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in coaching, strong competitive badminton skills, and the ability to manage multiple venues. Location: Multiple venues islandwide
Coaching Excellence
Lead and conduct high-quality coaching sessions across all levels (beginner to competitive).
Develop structured training programmes aligned with academy standards.
Oversee student progress, performance tracking, and competitive readiness.
Leadership & Management
Supervise, guide, and mentor Senior and Junior Coaches.
Conduct regular coaching evaluations and provide feedback to improve standards.
Ensure consistency and discipline across all training venues.
Programme & Academy Development
Drive training innovation, curriculum updates, and class quality.
Assist management in planning tournaments, events, and holiday programmes.
Support academy operations such as scheduling, class management, and parent communication.
HR & Administrative Collaboration
Work closely with HR/Admin (KD) to support onboarding, performance management, and staff coordination.
Ensure accurate attendance, leave tracking, and reporting for coaching staff.
Strong competitive badminton background (national/state/regional level preferred).
Minimum 5 years coaching experience, including team leadership or programme management.
Coaching certifications (BWF/SBA or equivalent) are an advantage.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple venues, schedules, and coaching teams.
Physically fit and committed to delivering consistent coaching quality.
