Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a large central kitchen in Tuas, Singapore. You will shape culinary concepts, support major catering events and drive menu development for retail and commercial clients.
You will manage kitchen operations, cost control, food safety and a sizeable culinary team in a fast-paced environment. The role offers strategic influence across menus, procurement and vendor management.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the operations of a large-scale central kitchen in Tuas. This is a senior culinary leadership role for someone who is confident managing kitchen operations, developing menus, controlling costs, and leading a sizeable culinary team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape culinary concepts, support major catering events, and contribute to menu development for retail outlets and commercial customers.
Oversee the overall operations of the central kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and timely fulfilment of orders.
Develop and propose menus for customer enquiries, tenders and business opportunities.
Create innovative dining concepts and menu offerings for retail outlets.
Lead culinary operations for high-profile catering events and services.
Evaluate new raw materials, ingredients and suppliers to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
Prepare weekly material forecasts and work closely with the purchasing team.
Establish and monitor standard recipe costing, ensuring actual food costs remain within targets.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Manage labour costs, manpower planning and productivity.
Minimum 10 years of culinary experience in a reputable, large-scale F&B, catering or hospitality establishment.
Proven experience in central kitchen, large-scale food production or high-volume catering operations.
Strong culinary creativity with excellent and well-recognised culinary skills.
Good understanding of the Singapore/local foodservice landscape.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Good knowledge of food costing, menu planning, purchasing and inventory management.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
