Duty Responsibilities:
As the Executive Chef for Jayleen Lifestyle Pte Ltd your responsibilities include:
- Cuisine Experience : Indian, South East Asian, Continental, Mediterranean and Italian cuisines with a proven ability to manage diverse menus including Indian curries, Japanese and South-East Asian, American Grills & Steak, Italian Pastas and Tapas.
- Kitchen Leadership & Management: Overseeing all kitchen operations at J Bistro, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
- Cost Control & Inventory Management: Managing kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, and maintaining inventory to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Culinary Innovation & Quality Assurance: Driving the restaurant's culinary direction, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency across Western, Mediterranean, and Indian cuisines.
- Cross-Group Deployment: Leading and supporting culinary operations for events and catering across the Jayleen Group's other properties, including its boutique hotels.
- Training & Mentorship: Taking a leading role in training and mentoring junior staff, interns, and fresh graduates from local institutions, in line with our talent cultivation strategy.
