About the Concept

We are an all-day lifestyle café-bar located in the heart of Raffles Place, offering reimagined local comfort food, specialty coffee, matcha creations, and a lively evening cocktail scene. As we grow, we’re looking for a talented and confident Head Barista to take charge of our coffee and matcha program — someone who can lead by example and inspire a high-performing barista team.

Role Overview

As Head Barista, you will lead and manage the full barista team, uphold beverage quality and service consistency, and help shape a beverage program that reflects both creativity and care. You’ll be hands‑on in day-to-day operations, while also setting the tone for team culture, training, and professional standards. This role requires strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering great guest experiences through coffee and matcha.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily coffee bar operations with a focus on consistency, speed, and quality
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for espresso, milk, filter brewing, and matcha drinks
  • Create and roll out seasonal coffee and matcha-based beverages
  • Train, guide, and motivate baristas to achieve high standards of product and service
  • Ensure smooth team workflow during high-volume service periods
  • Manage equipment calibration and minor maintenance
  • Handle inventory, ordering, and supplier communications
  • Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards across the bar
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Skilled in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and matcha-based drinks
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, correct, and encourage team performance
  • Experience with drink development and SOP implementation
