About the Concept

We are an all-day lifestyle café-bar located in the heart of Raffles Place, offering reimagined local comfort food, specialty coffee, matcha creations, and a lively evening cocktail scene. As we grow, we’re looking for a talented and confident Head Barista to take charge of our coffee and matcha program — someone who can lead by example and inspire a high-performing barista team.

Role Overview

As Head Barista, you will lead and manage the full barista team, uphold beverage quality and service consistency, and help shape a beverage program that reflects both creativity and care. You’ll be hands‑on in day‑to‑day operations, while also setting the tone for team culture, training, and professional standards. This role requires strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering great guest experiences through coffee and matcha.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily coffee bar operations with a focus on consistency, speed, and quality
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for espresso, milk, filter brewing, and matcha drinks
  • Create and roll out seasonal coffee and matcha‑based beverages
  • Train, guide, and motivate baristas to achieve high standards of product and service
  • Ensure smooth team workflow during high‑volume service periods
  • Manage equipment calibration and minor maintenance
  • Handle inventory, ordering, and supplier communications
  • Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards across the bar
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of barista experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Skilled in espresso extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and matcha‑based drinks
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, correct, and encourage team performance
  • Experience with drink development and SOP implementationCalm and clear communicator, especially during busy service
