A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Hard Services Manager to oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates must demonstrate effective management of a team of technicians and coordinate with external contractors to ensure the highest service standards and compliance with safety regulations. This position offers a standard Monday to Friday work schedule.
Working Location : Buona Vista
Working Hours : Mondays to Fridays only, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Job Summary: The Hard Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all building systems within a facility. This includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. The role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Additionally, the Hard Services Manager will act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all building systems, ensuring regular inspections and timely repairs.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Supervise and lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development and training programs.
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring cost-effective solutions for the organization.
Develop and manage the budget for hard services, ensuring cost control and efficient allocation of resources.
Monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to the Site Lead.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections.
Implement and maintain safety protocols, conducting regular training sessions for staff.
Oversee renovation and refurbishment projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to minimize disruption to operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance and facility issues.
Address and resolve tenant concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Communicate upcoming maintenance activities, potential disruptions, and project updates to tenants.
Conduct regular meetings with tenants to gather feedback and improve service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repair logs.
Provide regular reports on the status of building systems, maintenance activities, and any issues or concerns.
