IN IMAGE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced hairstylist/colourist to join our team.

You will recommend hairstyles and treatments tailored to each client, perform a broad range of colouring techniques, and style hair to achieve the desired look. Exceptional customer service and rapport-building will help convert prospects into loyal clients. You will analyse hair and scalp conditions to advise suitable treatments, provide services from blow-drying to shaping and curling, and stay

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a hairstylist or colourist.
• Knowledge of a wide range of hairstyles suitable for various hair lengths.
• Hands-on experience in colouring, straightening, curling techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

• Recommend hairstyle, colouring, and treatment based on client’s facial shape and preferences.
• Perform a wide range of hair colouring techniques.
• Style hair to desired effect, including shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, etc.
• Analyse client’s hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate treatment or product.
• Perform hair services including blow-drying, waxing, styling, etc.
• Build up a customer base by converting prospects into long-term clients.
• Maintain good relationships with clients and remember hairstyle preferences.
• Act as a subject matter expert on hair treatments, procedures, styling and technology and stay updated on trends.
• Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor or Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of proven work experience, as a hairstylist or colourist.
• Knowledge of a wide range of hairstyles, suitable for various hair lengths.
• Hands-on experience in colouring, straightening, curling techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Well-groomed, proactive and self-motivated.
