Job summary

GOLDEN KINGS GLOBAL SERVICES (PTE. LTD.) is seeking an experienced Hair Stylist/Hairdresser to join our team in Singapore.

You will perform scissors cutting, guide clients on beard designs, color techniques, and hair straightening/curling, while offering skincare and facial recommendations tailored to individual needs. You will greet clients, understand their preferences, and propose styles that suit face shapes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role.
• Experience in Scissors cutting; Clippers experience.
• Experience in different types of hair cuts and advanced fade cuts.
• Proficiency in beard designing.
• Proficiency in hair straightening and curling using hot irons and curlers.
• Experience in advising clients on suitable facials and skin/hair care products.
• Proficiency with various coloring techniques.
• Knowledge of wide range of haircuts for all hair lengths (braids, top knots).
• Welcoming customers and identifying preferences by asking questions.
• Recommending hairstyles according to face shapes and tastes.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair with appropriate shampoos/conditioners.
• Cut, trim and shave hair with professional equipment.
• Apply hair coloring techniques and styles.
• Advise clients on facials and hair care products for different skin types.
• Greet clients and assess preferences to suggest suitable hairstyles.

Job description

Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role.

Hands-on experience in Scissors cutting. (Experience in using Clippers).

Experience in different type of hair cuts and Advanced fade cuts.

Proficiency in different types of Beard Designing.

Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers.

Experience in handling differnt skin and advising clients with suitable facials and skin care, hair care products.

Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques.

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids and top knots).

Welcoming customers and identifying their preferences by asking pointed questions.

Recommending hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes.

Washing, rinsing and drying clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalps).

Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment.
