Job summary

A global energy leader in Singapore is seeking an HSE professional to ensure compliance with safety regulations and lead incident investigations. The candidate should have a diploma in engineering and experience in the petrochemical industry. The role requires strong knowledge of HSE regulations and effective communication skills. Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering (Environment/Health/Safety) or its equivalent.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and FSM with SCDF.
  • Internal/Lead auditor in HSEQ Management System.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in petrochemical/chemical industry.

  • Ensure HSE compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments.
  • Lead safety committee meetings and inspections.
  • Motivate stakeholders in achieving H3SEQ objectives.

Job description
Legal (HSE)
  • Ensure HSE rules and legal compliance to Singapore governmental agencies and TE group are adhered within the plant.
  • Conduct Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment; Aspect and Impact Analysis.
  • Ensure Security Management Program on site and also to ensure security coordination and procedures are established to all stakeholders as reasonably practicable as per site requirement.
  • Create awareness and participate in Innovation programmes.
  • Authority to stop delivery of non-conformance products.
  • To facilitate monthly safety committee meeting (SCM).
  • Perform annual SCM and HSE site inspection based on schedule.
  • Maintain and update H3SEQ policy and procedures under H3SEQ management systems: ISO14001, ISO 45001 , ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 50001 & One Maestro.
Leadership
  • Enforce H3SE behavior and promote awareness and training to all stakeholders.
  • Motivate in accomplishing the company’s H3SEQ objectives and targets.
  • Lead in incident (accident, loss time, first-aid, near-miss, deviation) investigations and recommend preventive actions.
  • Audit the ad hoc activities and review the PTW system to ensure compliance of HSE rules & regulations.
Others
  • Assist in the implementation of Company Emergency Response Plan (CERT), Crisis Management (CMC) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) drill and training.
  • Assist in organizing effective promotional activities and events to enhance safety and health interest & awareness.
  • Assist in furnish HSE reporting regularly to management, group and governmental agencies respectively.
  • Ensure PPE stocks and inventory are well-maintained.
  • Assist in the Waste management and BioDiversity activities and plan.
Qualifications/Requirement
  • Diploma in Engineering (Environment/Health/Safety) or its equivalent
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and FSM with SCDF.
  • Internal / Lead auditor in HSEQ Management System.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience, in a Petrochemical/chemical or related manufacturing industry.
  • Good knowledge in HSE legal and Regulatory Affairs and Compliances in Singapore.
  • Able to work in 2 shifts environment.
