Qualifications

• Prior group coaching experience in functional training or strength and conditioning.
• Comfortable coaching group classes independently.
• Prior experience coaching women across different age groups is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coach group classes in line with studio programming and class templates.
• Deliver clear coaching cues while maintaining strong awareness across the training floor.
• Ensure classes are safe, well-organised, and aligned with programmed intent.
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating training environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of basic strength training and movement mechanics

Clear communication and confident class presence

Ability to manage multiple movements or stations within a class

amber, the exciting new sister brand of Amore Fitness, is an upcoming boutique women’s-only group functional training studio in Singapore. The studio is built around high-quality coaching, strong community, and long-term member development. Join us as we take a step towards a new era of fitness in Singapore.

The Group Fitness Coach is responsible for delivering safe, engaging, and high-quality group training classes. This role plays a critical part in shaping the daily member experience and maintaining coaching standards.

You will coach group classes, support member development, and represent the studio’s values through professionalism, energy, and consistency. This position suits a coach who is confident on the floor, people-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach group classes in line with studio programming and class templates
• Deliver clear coaching cues while maintaining strong awareness across the training floor
• Ensure classes are safe, well-organised, and aligned with programmed intent
• Provide appropriate regressions, progressions, and technique corrections

• Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating training environment
• Build rapport with members and encourage consistency and confidence
• Support new members during their onboarding and early classes
• Contribute positively to the studio’s community culture

• Arrive prepared, punctual, and professional for all coaching shifts
• Follow studio SOPs, coaching standards, and operational guidelines
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and general studio upkeep
• Represent the studio positively on and off the floor

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised fitness certification (e.g. ACE, NASM, FISAF, CrossFit, or equivalent)
• Comfortable coaching group classes independently
• Prior group coaching experience in functional training or strength and conditioning. Candidates with no prior experience but have a strong passion and interest in pursuing a coaching role are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience coaching women across different age groups is an advantage.
