Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Singapore is looking for a finance manager to prepare consolidated financial reports and lead a finance team. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience, a degree in Finance, and be CPA qualified. Proficiency in Microsoft tools and Mandarin is preferred. This role involves liaising with auditors and supporting financial processes while ensuring tight deadlines are met.

Job Scope

• Prepare timely and accurately consolidated financial & management reports (i.e. monthly flash report & dashboard and quarterly board paper)
• Financial planning, analysis and good problem-solving skills
• Work closely with business units’ finance team to resolve accounting issues and provide technical support on accounting and management reporting matters
• Liaise with local and group auditors on audit to ensure a smooth group audit process
• Liaise with other professional advisors and stakeholders on matters related to financial & management reports
• Administer the Group’s ERP comprising the accounting and consolidation systems
• System, process improvements and ad-hoc projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide support for ad-hoc reporting and assist with projects as assigned by Management
• Manage, develop, motivate and supervise a lean group finance team of accountant and account exe
• Conduct annual review of ABAC and sanctions compliance and enterprise risk management

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Finance or equivalent
• CPA, with a professional qualification recognised by ISCA or internationally recognised accounting body ACCA
• At least 7 years of relevant working experience or in Big 4 Audit Firm
• Managerial / Supervisory experience
• Excellent knowledge of financial statement consolidation and accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS)
• Solid hands-on and review experience in preparing consolidated statutory financial audited financial statements and management reports for a large group
• An excellent team worker with strong analytical, people-management, communication and organisation skills
• Independent, resourceful and energetic
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller and Lawson M3 will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Able to communicate in Mandarin as this role requires you to liaise with Business Units in China
