Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee accounting for multiple companies and manage Fund operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in finance and is proficient in various Microsoft Office applications. This role includes responsibilities for audits, cash flow management, and compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting for all Group companies and Fund Accounts.
  • Manage Fund bookkeeping, AUM tracking, client lists, fund operations, and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Coordinate with auditors and assist with year-end audits.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts and foreign currency positions.
  • Ensure compliance for GST returns, corporate tax, withholding tax, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory filings.

Job description
  • Handled full set of accounts for assigned entities (4-5 companies) independently
  • Experience in Treasury Bonds, Dividends, Trust and Fund accounts
  • Experienced in MAS reporting, GST reporting, Corporate Tax return, statutory and regulatory reporting
Job Description:
  • Oversee accounting for all Group companies and Fund Accounts.
  • Manage Fund bookkeeping, AUM tracking, client lists, fund operations, and other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Products and Research Director.
  • Handle invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for all entities and vendors.
  • Act as the main liaison for audits — coordinate with auditors, assist with year-end audits, and respond to audit or regulatory queries.
  • Review external accountants’ reports to ensure financial statements comply with local accounting standards.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts and foreign currency positions; provide weekly reports to the Director.
  • Ensure timely submission and compliance for GST returns, corporate tax, withholding tax, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory filings.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Support the Compliance Officer in preparing and submitting reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory bodies.
Job Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 9 years of relevant experience in finance, fund management, or trust operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
