Job description

About the Company
This is a private equity-owned B2B service provider with a multi-country operational footprint and a clear growth trajectory through organic and inorganic initiatives. As the business continues to scale, there is a critical need to strengthen the finance leadership bench with the appointment of a seasoned Group Finance Director.
Summary of Position
The Group Finance Director will oversee all aspects of financial control, reporting, compliance, audit, and treasury across the group. Functionally, this role will be responsible for the integrity of financial operations and statutory governance, and act as a key business partner to leadership and the private equity sponsor on matters relating to cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of group financial accounting, consolidation, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/local GAAP).
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of financial data.
  • Own the group audit process, liaising with external auditors and advisors to ensure successful and timely completion of audits.
  • Manage internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure financial governance and compliance across the organization.
  • Supervise group tax and treasury operations, including cash management, intercompany transactions, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and finance systems optimization (e.g., ERP, automation) to support scalability and control effectiveness.
  • Partner with legal, operations, and regional teams to provide financial oversight on contracts, M&A integration, and restructuring initiatives as needed.
  • Support the CFO and private equity owners with ad hoc reporting, due diligence, board reporting, and capital structure initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of +/- 20 years of progressive experience, ideally in a PE-backed, multi-entity, and international environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge in IFRS, audit oversight, and hands-on experience managing complex consolidations.
  • Proven leadership of finance operations including compliance, controls, tax, and treasury.
  • Experience navigating the finance function through transformation, system upgrades, or post-merger integration is a strong advantage.
  • Collaborative leader with the ability to influence across functions and geographies, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
