Overview

Industry/ Organization Type: Design and Manufacture of Parts and Tools

Position Title: Group Accountant

Working Location: Kaki Bukit

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm

Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial and administrative functions, emphasizing organized systems and audited processes.


• Prepare company accounts, corporate tax returns, and review monthly financial accounting and management reports.


• Prepare monthly consolidation reports, quarterly SGXnet reports, annual reports, and the annual consolidation budget.


• Work with auditors and tax consultants on financial and tax reporting requirements.


• Coordinate with the company secretary on compliance with the Companies Act and related government bodies.


• Engage with bankers to manage required services and financing needs.


• Conduct group internal audits, review, implement, and document accounting systems, procedures, and controls.


• Participate in ISO projects, Enterprise Risk Management, Transfer Pricing, and Sustainability Reporting.


• Assist in general administration functions, including human resources management.


• Implement and enforce company policies related to ISO, Environment, Health & Safety, and maintain the Company Handbook.


• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.


• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly desirable.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a proven track record in financial reporting and consolidation.


• Experience in liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate tax regulations, and statutory compliance.


• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).


• Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
