Group Accountant (Consolidation | Manufacturing)
A global industrial group is looking for a Group Accountant to strengthen its Asia finance function. The role focuses on performance reporting, data-driven analysis, and finance process improvement across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Performance & Analysis
- Consolidate regional financial results and provide analysis on trends, cost movements, and profitability drivers.
- Partner with country teams to validate submissions, review assumptions, and enhance data consistency.
- Support regional and global management with timely business reviews, forecasts, and planning cycles.
- Deliver insights to improve commercial and operational performance, including margin and product mix reviews.
Governance & Financial Controls
- Assist in regional financial close activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit deliverables and ensure proper documentation.
- Contribute to standardizing reporting processes and strengthening financial governance across entities.
Commercial & Pricing Support
- Work with sales and operations to monitor and update regional pricing structures and profitability metrics.
- Support price reviews and provide analytical input on product margins, transfer prices, and cost movements.
- Maintain accuracy of master data in ERP and reporting systems.
Projects & Systems Development
- Participate in regional finance transformation projects including system upgrades and automation initiatives.
- Support development of dashboards and analytical tools
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows and enhance data transparency.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in management reporting, FP&A, or audit within a multinational or manufacturing setup.
- Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Collaborative, analytical, and comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders across countries.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement in a growing regional finance environment.
