Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Singapore is seeking an intern to assist in conducting cybersecurity assessments and managing a VAPT tracking system. This role offers hands-on experience in project management and the development of automation tools, while working alongside experienced consultants. Ideal candidates should possess foundational Cybersecurity knowledge and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge in Cybersecurity and frameworks such as MITRE and OWASP.
• Experience in testing tools such as Burpsuite would be advantageous.
• Possess industry recognised certification as part of CCOP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced cybersecurity consultants to support assessments.
• Assist in analyzing and reviewing assessment results for clients.
• Develop automation tools to improve report generation process.
• Manage and track development of the VAPT tracking system.

Skills

Fundamental knowledge in Cybersecurity and frameworks

Experience in testing tools such as Burpsuite

Keen to acquire new skills & knowledge in Cybersecurity Consulting

Independent and Positive attitude to learn

Education

Industry recognised certification (CISA, CRISC, OSCA, CREST)

Job description

This position reports to the Senior Engineer to deliver the following:

• Acquire real life experiences such as project management skills and client communication, managing expectations.
• Gain unique insights into Cybersecurity consulting for critical sectors in Singapore.
• Acquire hands‑on experience in conducting Cybersecurity Assessments such as Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Assessment, Audit, Pen‑testing subjected to the intern's interest
• Acquire project management experience in tracking the development of the VAPT tracking system

Job Responsibilities

• Work along side our team of experienced cybersecurity consultants to support conducting cybersecurity assessments for critical systems in Singapore.
• Assist in analyzing and reviewing assessment results and provide expert recommendations to our clients.
• Develop automation tools (E.g. using script/python) to improve and streamline our report generation process for various report formats
• Manage and track the development of the VAPT tracking system

Technical Skills and Competencies

• Fundamental knowledge in Cybersecurity and frameworks such as MITRE and OWASP
• Experience in testing tools such as Burpsuite would be advantageous.
• Possess industry recognised certification as part of CCOP requirements such as CISA, CRISC, OSCA, CREST would be advantageous.
• Keen to acquire new skills & knowledge in Cybersecurity Consulting Services
• Independent and Positive attitude to learn and try new things
