Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a Field Application Engineer to secure design wins and provide technical support to key customers. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of power semiconductors. Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure are essential. This position involves interfacing with Sales and Marketing teams to enhance technical competency and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Secure design-in and design-win of products at key customers.
• Select and recommend products to customer engineers.

Job description

This Position reports to the Fied Application Engineer (FAE) manager and interfaces with Sales and Marketing. FAE team is committed to an employee-oriented culture that develop his/her technichal competency and customer interfacing skills.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role:

1. Securing design-in & design-win of Infineon products at key/focused customers, especially in motor drive/industrial automation/ SMPS in ASEAN & ANZ
2. Selecting and recommending Infineon offerings related to selected focus applications and related product to customer engineers
3. Providing extensive 1st level technical support and managing customers’ technical questions
4. Collecting and feedbacking customer application requirements to regional and global system/product application teams
