Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Singapore invites ambitious graduates to join a strategy and transactions team. You will analyze historical and pro forma financial data, research industries, and help structure deals while learning from seasoned professionals.

The role emphasizes data visualization (Power BI, Spotfire), analytical techniques with Python/R, and collaboration across client teams. A university degree in accounting or economics and a passion for business are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing university degree related to Accountancy or Economics.
• Demonstrated passion in or basic knowledge of visualization techniques and tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire) and data sourcing/capture, data preparation and data transformation techniques.
• Basic understanding of analytical techniques and tools for predictive and descriptive analytics. E.g. R, Python, VBA, Alteryx. Python preferred.
• Familiarity with machine learning and optimization techniques, cloud technologies and DevOps tools are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation.
• Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information.
• Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring.
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
