[Graduate Hire] Associates, Credit Review
Due to our business expansion across the Asia Pacific region, we are seeking recent graduates for the role of Associates, Credit Review.
Job Responsibilities
1. Prepare Credit Application / Review for Existing Borrowers
- Write up Credit Application / Review for borrowers with credit facilities (loans, securities, guarantees, trade finance, etc.).
 - Assess the credit facilities in accordance to branch and MAS guidelines. This includes Borrower’s / Issuer’s financial performance, country or industry analysis and any other information related to the Borrower / Issuer. Also includes review of compliance certificate and indication of any breaches in the review.
 - Comment on and recommend changes to the MAS loan classification of the Borrower/Issuer if required.
 - Obtain Credit Review Committee’s approval for the Credit Application / Review. File approved reviews in their respective Credit Review files.
 
2. Prepare MAS Top Borrower Group Survey
- Populate the MAS Survey with credit-related data and information of required borrowers / counterparties on a semi-annual basis.
 
3. Prepare Credit Watchlist
- Update the Watchlist on a monthly basis to monitor classified accounts. The Watchlist comprises information pertaining to borrower’s / issuer’s MAS Classification, outstanding, provision amount, latest development, etc.
 
4. Prepare Credit Dashboard
- Update the Dashboard on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy in risk control and monitoring of the bank’s portfolio. The Dashboard comprises information pertaining to loan covenants, financial covenants, financial statements, loan-to-value ratio and insurance coverage ratio, renewals and policies.
 - Collect the Compliance Certificates, Valuation reports, Financial Statements and Insurance Documents from Operations Department, check for completeness, timeliness and accuracy, and ensure that there are no breaches.
 - Inform all related departments of any breaches / non-compliance and the necessary follow-up actions to be taken.
 
5. Any Other Ad-hoc Work and Projects
- Complete any other ad-hoc work and projects as assigned by General Manager, Senior Deputy General Manager or Head of Credit from time to time.
 
Job Requirements
- Ideally, Bachelor's degree, majoring in Finance, Business, Commerce, Accountancy or Law
 - Prior Corporate Banking internship will be a plus
 - Financial Statement Analysis skills
 - Business proficiency in written and oral English is required
 - Good interpersonal and communication skills
 - Good team player and self-driven
