Our mission is to provide world-class service and experience for customers, sellers and creators. We are looking for a SEA Governance Operational Risk Analyst role to support root cause analysis and problem resolution management for SEA region.

  • Identify and assess gaps across the governance lifecycle, from policy development to enforcement, through case investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align on findings, share insights, and build consensus on needed improvements.
  • Manage and track governance programs and action items, ensuring timely execution and strengthened control mechanisms across key domains.
  • Monitor performance of key metrics and conduct deep dive analysis when necessary.
  • Drive automation and AI initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy across GNE operations.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirement(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Professional experience in e-commerce governance, policy development, moderation operations, or related domains.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce compliance standards and internet governance, with strong business acumen and risk awareness.
  • Intermediate data analysis skills (including working with datasets, and competency in Excel/ spreadsheets).
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities, including proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing.
  • Japan language N1 qualification and fluency is required to work on Japan market escalations and documents.

Preferred Qualification(s)

  • Experience in listing/content moderation, or BPO operations, ideally in a QA, Team Lead, or SOP development role.
  • Experience in AI automation or prompt engineering to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in project or program management, particularly in cross-functional and global environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking and a programmatic approach to monitoring outcomes and driving improvements.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, especially in complex or ambiguous situations.
