Overview

QA Specialist

We are seeking an experienced QA Specialist to lead functional, end-to-end, and automation testing initiatives. The ideal candidate is proficient in Selenium, API testing, and Agile methodologies, with strong defect management skills and hands-on experience in CI/CD environments.

Working details

• Working Hour: Mon-Fri
• Working Location: Central
• Remuneration Package: Up to $6,500 (basic) + AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test cases for various test types, including Functional Testing and End-to-End Testing.
• Execute test cases and closely monitor the testing progress to ensure timely completion.
• Experience in Automation Testing (Selenium)
• Report test status, results, and defects to the relevant stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in test coverage.
• Provide guidance and coaching to users to enhance their understanding of testing processes and techniques.
• Familiarity with defects and test management tools, as well as automated testing and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and Cucumber
• Experience in API testing (Postman), Performance Testing, or Security Testing will be considered favorably.
• Exhibit curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving, showing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in Agile Methodology - BDD Framework & Scrum

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing test cases and conducting test execution.
• Proficient in Functional Testing and End-to-End Testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of defects and test management tools is desirable.
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD processes will be a bonus.
• Experience in API testing, Performance Testing, or Security Testing will be considered a valuable asset.
