Job summary

Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise budget roll-up for the organization. Provide data analytic support for periodic financial budgeting and reporting, including analysis of workload and revenue mix, trending, and variance analysis of budget versus actual performance.
  • Evaluate operating expenditure (OPEX) spending and capital investment requests. Review and assess business cases and projects for potential risks and opportunities.
  • Review internal processes, systems, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements to minimize business risks. Collaborate across multiple departments to drive process enhancements and strengthen internal controls.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to build collaborative relationships and ensure alignment with the strategic objectives of the institution. Provide financial planning support and advice to cost centres and departments.
  • Plan, drive, and manage quality improvement projects at both organization-wide and departmental levels. Provide active support for staff training and capability development.
  • Act as a change agent to promote mindset shifts for organization-wide and departmental initiatives, fostering a culture of collegiality and effective teamwork.
  • Evaluate projects and prepare submissions to management and relevant authorities on funding and costing matters.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
