JD: About the Role

Overview

We are seeking a Google Cloud Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern AI technologies. The ideal candidate will lead solution design across cloud infrastructure, data, applications, and AI ecosystems. This role requires hands‑on architecture capability, leadership in strategic solutioning, and the ability to drive meaningful business outcomes with Google Cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design and architect end‑to‑end solutions on Google Cloud Platform, covering compute, storage, networking, security, data analytics, and AI/ML services.
• Develop and integrate AI applications using Gemini models, Vertex AI, Duet AI, and Agentspace to address real‑world business challenges.
• Establish best practices for scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient GCP architectures across sectors such as aviation, healthcare, transport, and public services.
• Lead architecture reviews, modernization strategies, and cloud migration blueprints aligned to enterprise transformation objectives.

2. Co‑Innovation & Delivery

• Collaborate with Google Cloud engineering and product teams on solution co‑creation and innovation.
• Lead technical workshops, immersion labs, and proof‑of‑value initiatives in partnership with Google teams.
• Co‑present and co‑author solution artifacts, demos, and capability showcases for stakeholder and industry engagement.

3. Evangelism & Capability Enablement

• Serve as a Google Technology Champion, promoting the value and application of Google Cloud and AI technologies across internal and external ecosystems.
• Advocate the adoption of Google AI capabilities (Gemini, Vertex AI, Agentspace) through enablement sessions and awareness initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams to strengthen delivery capabilities in GCP and AI‑first solutioning.

4. Solution Incubation & Thought Leadership

• Identify and build reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and solution frameworks leveraging Google Cloud.
• Contribute to thought leadership around responsible AI, generative AI governance, and applied innovation.
• Support business development activities including technical pre‑sales, RFP responses, solution design workshops, and client conversations.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 4+ years in GCP cloud architecture roles.
• Deep knowledge of core GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Apigee, IAM, and Cloud Spanner.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks and platforms (Vertex AI, Gemini, TensorFlow, LangChain, Agentspace).
• Strong background in modern application architectures: microservices, containers, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
• Understanding of hybrid or multi‑cloud environments integrating AWS, Azure, or on‑premise systems.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Experience working in strategic co‑delivery or partnership environments with Google Cloud teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technology capabilities into clear business value propositions.

Preferred Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Professional Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer
• Vertex AI or Gemini specialization certifications (preferred)
