Responsibilities
- Enforces golf rules as per the Club Rules Handbook.
- Organises and attends golf tournaments and events.
- Plans and executes the Warren Amateur Open annually.
- Organises private golf events and coordinates details.
- Manages and oversees the golf department.
- Prepares agenda for various club meetings.
- Conducts departmental meetings with golfing staff.
- Prepares the golfing budget.
- Functions as emcee during major club events.
- Liaises with Singapore Golf Association.
- Attends to members’ feedbacks and complaints.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities
- Enforces golf rules stipulated under the Club Rules Handbook such as order of play, control hours, time sheet bookings, when and who are eligible to play on the course, handicap certifications, maintenance of handicaps.
- Organises and attends golf tournaments, club or non-club events such as Fa Cai Cup, Brigadier Derek Warren Challenge Trophy, Captain’s Team vs Lady Captain’s Team Event, 72‑Hole Strokeplay Championship, Club Match Play Championship, Monthly Medal, Golf Medal and SGA Inter‑Club Match and SLGA Inter‑Club Match.
- Plans, organizes and executes the Warren Amateur Open annually. This includes sourcing for sponsorships of the Charity Golf Game.
- Organises and attends private golf events for the Private Tournament Organiser. This includes the coordination of the competition details and requirements for the organizers.
- Manages and oversees the golf department to ensure smooth operation.
- Attends and prepares agenda for Captain’s, Driving Range and Handicap Sub‑Committee and Green meetings.
- Conducts departmental meetings to brief, motivate and communicate with golfing staff on a regular basis in order to forge closer working relationships with staff and at the same time help them to identify and solve their work related problems.
- Prepares the golfing budget.
- Functions as an emcee on stage during major club events.
- Liaises with Singapore Golf Association to ensure that the Club works according to the governing bodies of golf, ie, Royal & Ancient of St. Andrews and USGA.
- Attends to members’ feedbacks and complaints on dangerous play, arguments etc. Gather facts and offer mediation for either party or recommend the case for DI.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Captain and the Management Committee.
