Job summary

Haier Singapore invites an experienced Innovation and Business Development Manager (R&D) to join the HOPE Global platform in Singapore, driving opportunities in the R&D field, scaling technology adoption, and supporting Haier products across markets.

You will build the innovation ecosystem through global technology scouting, analysis, joint development projects, and cultivate partnerships with government, universities, startups, and industry groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required; advanced degrees advantageous.
• Proactive with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities in R&D technology and translate them into adoption pathways.
• Operate global tech scouting, analysis, expert consultations, and joint development projects.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with government agencies, universities, startups, venture capital firms, incubators, and industry associations.
